Jacksonville Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association
The Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association is a group of trained volunteers whose mission is to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in it's overall mission. These volunteers assist the JPD in a number of ways, including assisting with traffic control at major events in the city of Jacksonville, raising money to help the department fund various projects, providing extra patrols at local parks, providing an extra presence at major events in the Jacksonville area, and honoring the law enforcement community each year with an annual Policeman's Ball. In order to become a member of the CPAAA, you must first complete the Citizen's Police Academy program offered each year by the Jacksonville Police Department.
